It works for a Sunday school Christmas party, a children’s ministry class in Advent or a family game on Christmas Eve.

Clues and verses for the caller
Every word has a short clue and a King James verse with the word left out, so you can make the game easy or hard. For little ones, read the word and hold up the calling card. For clue bingo, read the clue. For verse bingo, read the KJV verse and let older kids, teens and adults fill the gap. Every clue is taken from the King James wording of its passage, and none of them gives away another word on the card.
The clues and verses are printed only on the caller sheets in the PDF (pages 9–10 and 18–19), so leaders can keep them back.
How to play Bible bingo
- Print the cards at 100% (“Actual size”), on card stock if you can, and cut each page in half.
- Cut out the calling cards for your game and put them in a bowl.
- Draw a card and call the word, its clue or its verse.
- Players mark the word if it is on their card. The FREE square is already marked.
- The first to get five in a row (across, down or corner to corner) calls “Bingo!”. Also try four corners, a big X, the picture frame or blackout.

Make your own Bible bingo cards
Page 21 has two blank cards. Write any 24 words from the calling cards, or make your own theme: books of the Bible, a memory verse, or the people in this week’s lesson.

After the game, keep one verse.
Memorize a verse a week with the Scripture Memory Cards ($7.99).

Frequently asked questions
Is this Bible bingo printable really free?
Yes. All 22 pages are free to download and print for personal, family, classroom, church and Bible-study use. Please share the page link rather than the file, and don’t resell it.
Which Bible translation does it use?
The King James Version (KJV). Every verse on the caller sheets was checked word for word against the KJV text, and the card words keep the KJV spelling, such as Saviour and Elisabeth.
How do you play Bible bingo?
Give each player a card. The caller draws a calling card and reads the word, its clue or its verse with the word left out. Players mark the word if they have it, and the first to get five in a row calls “Bingo!”.
How many people can play?
Each game has 12 different cards. For a bigger group, play in pairs or teams, print a second copy and add a small prize for each winner, or let extra players fill in a blank card.
Can two players win at the same time?
No two cards share a full row, column or diagonal, or the same four corners. So two players can’t win with the same line on the same call, although each can still finish a different line.
Is there a Christmas version for Sunday school?
Yes. The Christmas Bible bingo game (12 cards) uses 30 words from the Nativity story in Matthew, Luke and Isaiah. It is a good Christmas party game for children’s ministry and families.
What is verse bingo?
It is a harder way to call: the caller reads the King James verse with the bingo word left out, and players work out the missing word. It suits older kids, teens and adult Bible studies.
What ages is Bible bingo for?
Little ones can play when the caller reads the word and shows the calling card. Clue bingo suits about ages 8 and up, and verse bingo suits teens and adults, so the whole family can play together.
Free for personal, family, classroom, church and Bible-study use. Please share the page link rather than the file, and don’t resell. Scripture from the King James Version (public domain in the US).
