“Fruit” or “fruits” of the Spirit?
Paul writes “the fruit of the Spirit is”, in the singular. Many teachers describe it as one harvest the Holy Spirit grows in a believer, with nine sides to it. Earlier in the same chapter he says, “Walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16), and then:
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
