How to make printable Bible bookmarks
- Print at 100% / "Actual size" on white cardstock (65–110 lb / 176–300 gsm). Plain paper works if you laminate.
- Cut along the dashed lines with scissors or a paper trimmer. Each bookmark is 2.2 × 7 in (5.6 × 17.8 cm).
- Back it (optional). Print the backs page on the reverse of any sheet (flip on the long edge), or cut it out and glue it on.
- Finish. Punch the small circle at the top and add a ribbon or tassel. Laminate, or cover with clear packing tape, so it lasts.
Tip: Set 1 and Set 4 use soft tints with dark text, so they still look clean on a black-and-white printer.

Frequently asked questions
Are these Bible verse bookmarks really free?
Yes. All 24 bookmarks are free to download and print for personal, family, classroom, small-group and church use. Please share the page link rather than the file, and don’t resell them.
What size are the bookmarks?
Each bookmark is 2.2 × 7 inches (5.6 × 17.8 cm), three to a sheet. The PDF comes in US Letter and A4, and everything prints inside a 0.5-inch margin, so home printers won’t clip it.
What paper should I use?
White cardstock (65–110 lb / 176–300 gsm) gives the sturdiest bookmarks. Regular printer paper works too if you laminate them or cover them with clear tape.
Which Bible verses are included?
Set 1 covers courage (2 Timothy 1:7), light (Psalm 27:1), rest (Matthew 11:28), peace (Psalm 4:8), joy (Philippians 4:4), hope (Psalm 119:114), love (1 John 4:16), trust (Nahum 1:7), strength (Psalm 73:26), faith (Mark 9:23), shelter (Psalm 91:1) and goodness (Psalm 34:8). The coloring, Bible-reading and Christmas sets add 12 more. All verses are from the King James Version.
Are there bookmarks kids can color?
Yes. Set 2 has six black-and-white bookmarks with outlined words and simple line art: Shine, Blessed, Help, Sing, Wisdom and Faithful.
Can I use them as a Bible reading tracker?
Yes. The Old Testament and New Testament bookmarks list all 66 books with checkboxes, and the reading-log bookmark has lines for the date and passage.
Can I print the backs double-sided?
Yes. Print the “Bookmark backs” page on the reverse of any bookmark sheet and flip on the long edge. The bookmarks sit in the same place on every page. You can also cut out the backs and glue them on.
Do you have Christmas bookmarks?
Yes. Set 4 has three Christmas bookmarks (Isaiah 9:2, 1 John 4:10 and 1 Timothy 1:15) for stockings, cards and church gifts.
Free for personal, family, classroom and church use. Please share the page link rather than the file, and don’t resell. Scripture from the King James Version (public domain in the US).
